We honor St. John Kemble, an English priest and martyr who served faithfully for more than 50 years during persecution. Arrested during the “Popish Plot,” he was executed at age 80 simply for being a Catholic priest. Known for his humility and forgiveness, he prayed with his family and even shared a final pipe of tobacco before facing death.
