St. The Forgotten Christians Who Lit Rome with Their Faith

The First Martyrs of the Holy Roman Church were ordinary Christians who gave their lives during Emperor Nero's brutal persecution after the Great Fire of Rome. Men, women, and children endured unimaginable torture rather than deny Jesus Christ. Their sacrifice became the foundation upon which the Church continued to grow, proving that the blood of the martyrs truly is the seed of the Church.
