Saint John Gualbert was an Italian nobleman whose life changed forever when he chose forgiveness over revenge. After sparing the man who murdered his brother, he witnessed Christ miraculously bow His head from the crucifix in approval. John became a monk, founded the Vallombrosan Order, and helped reform the Church by courageously opposing corruption. His life reminds us that forgiveness is the strongest weapon a Christian possesses.
